In order to be added to the master list of court interpreters in California, you need to have an RID SC;L certification (a certification that is no longer given by the Registry for the Deaf) or hold a Texas Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) Court Interpreter Certification (CIC), offered by the Texas Office of Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS).
